Mayor of Shanghai Attends Opening of New Auto Center in Almaty
Almaty hosted the grand opening of the new Allur | MG dealership on Maylin Street.



The event marks a significant milestone in the development of Kazakhstan’s automotive market and the strengthening of international industry cooperation.
The new dealership is a modern space fully compliant with MG’s global brand standards. The showroom offers clients a full range of services, including model lineup showcases, test drives, and comprehensive maintenance and post-warranty service. This opening shall improve the quality of the customer experience and increase the accessibility of MG vehicles for Kazakhstani consumers.
The opening ceremony was attended by leadership from Allur and SAIC Motor, alongside delegations from the Shanghai Government and the Almaty City Administration (Akimat), underscoring the high level of international collaboration and the strategic importance of the event.
Maxim Myagchilov, Vice President of Distribution at the Kazakhstani automotive company Allur, noted:

The opening of this center is a logical continuation of our systematic work to develop the brand in Kazakhstan. Within a short period, we have managed to introduce the brand to the market, launch local production, and establish the foundation of a dealership network. We observe growing interest from customers and shall continue to expand our presence, making MG vehicles even more accessible. I am confident that the new dealership center shall become a vital point of growth and shall strengthen the trust of our clients."
The official part continued with speeches from international partners, who noted the high level of strategic interaction and shared joint plans for the further development of the brand in the Kazakhstan market.
Wang Xiaoqiu, Chairman of SAIC Motor, delivered a welcoming speech:

The opening of the MG dealership in Almaty reflects the strengthening partnership between Kazakhstan and China, the development of the automotive industry, and the increasing accessibility of modern technologies for the end consumer. Allur, acting as the official distributor and production partner of the MG brand in Kazakhstan, is developing a dealership network of 10 centers in Almaty, Astana, Kostanay, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Semey, Shymkent, Kokshetau, and Aktobe. By the end of 2026, the network expansion to 24 dealership centers is planned, ensuring the brand's presence in key regions of the country. All vehicles shall be covered by a warranty of 5 years or 150,000 km of mileage.
