Car, loan, and license plates—all in one, no need to visit the tax office
Astana, July 31, 2025 – Eurasian Bank announced the launch of the country's first end-to-end digital loan for the purchase of a new car, where all stages of the process – from application to registration and registration plate receipt – are fully online. The Eurasian Drive project was implemented in partnership with the Kazakhstani automobile company Allur.
On average, the process takes no more than an hour from the moment a car is selected at the dealership. Until now, online registration in Kazakhstan was only available for used cars in transactions between car owners. New car buyers had to submit a package of paper documents to the Public Service Center for the initial vehicle registration.
With the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the International Center for Information Technologies and Agrarian Policy, the Government for Citizens NJSC, and NIT JSC, integrations were implemented and a process was created that makes the car loan the first truly end-to-end digital process, minimizing the time it takes to purchase a car and simplifying the client's interactions with the bank, dealer, and government agencies.
"Together with our partners, we've simplified the car buying process to a three-in-one experience: choosing a car at the dealership, applying for a loan, and receiving the registration certificate—all without paperwork or bureaucracy. Everything is done online in under an hour. As market leaders, the launch of this new generation of loans is a logical step in the development of digital services and a new industry standard for convenience, speed, and security. Eurasian Drive complies with all government requirements and ensures complete transparency. We're happy for other market participants to follow suit," noted Lyazzat Satieva, Chairperson of the Management Board of Eurasian Bank.
The application process involves several automated steps. After selecting a car at the dealership, a manager enters the client's personal information into the system—just their IIN and phone number—as well as the vehicle specifications and down payment amount. Upon approval for financing, all documents and agreements between the client, the bank, and the dealership are signed online using a digital signature, and the down payment can be made by card or at the dealership's cash desk.
Once the transaction is confirmed, a digital package of documents is automatically generated and vehicle registration is initiated. During this step, the client selects a registration number (including VIP), pays the state fee, undergoes identification, submits an application to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and establishes a bank lien on the vehicle. The registration certificate will immediately appear in the digital documents. You can pick up the original license plates and documents at a convenient time at a designated public service center without having to wait in line.
