Li  was founded in 2015 by entrepreneur Li Xiang and was originally known as Beijing Chehejia. From the very beginning, the company chose the path of developing extended-range electric vehicles (EREV), combining electric drive with a gasoline generator. The brand’s first production model — Li ONE — was unveiled in 2019, with production starting the same year. In 2020, Li Auto went public on the Nasdaq under the ticker “LI,” marking an important step in its global growth.
