Over 100,000 children received support as part of the "Road to School" campaign
The "Road to School" campaign is being held in Kazakhstan, aimed at supporting children from low-income, large families, orphans and those left without parental care to prepare for the new school year. Every year, the campaign covers over 100,000 children from all over the country and involves representatives of large and small businesses, as well as the public.
Caring for children and families in need of support is an integral part of business today. This is not only a manifestation of social responsibility, but also a contribution to the development of society, allowing you to help children at the start of their educational journey.
Support for children and families at the beginning of the school year is of particular importance. This year, as part of the republican campaign "Road to School", about 1,500 children in the "Nura" district received backpacks with the necessary school supplies. More than 20 entrepreneurs joined the initiative, making a significant contribution to supporting schoolchildren. We express our gratitude to the district entrepreneurs for their demonstrated social responsibility and concern for the future of the younger generation. I am sure that such initiatives strengthen trust and mutual understanding between society, business and the state, - said Aliya Absemetova, Deputy Akim of the Nura district of Astana.
On the eve of the new school year, the Kazakhstani automobile company Allur provided more than 400 children from large, low-income and single-parent families in different regions of the country with the necessary school supplies.
In Astana and Almaty, children received branded backpacks from the company with a set of school supplies. The distribution was carried out according to lists compiled by the administration of schools and local akimats. Also, traditionally, children of automobile plant workers in Kostanay were presented with cash certificates for the purchase of stationery and school uniforms.
