RoboTechnoGirls 2025

The second season of the RoboTechnoGirls 2025 educational project for girls concluded in Astana. The young participants completed 162 hours of robotics lessons and 90 hours of training in the fundamentals of artificial intelligence. In addition to their training, the girls met with prominent women in IT, visited the Astana Hub head office, and participated in a roadshow of educational projects.


RoboTechnoGirls is a project of the Robotek robotics school and has become an important milestone in developing engineering thinking and digital competencies among schoolgirls in Kazakhstan. Women account for less than 25% of the world's engineering and STEM professionals. However, there is currently a trend toward increasing numbers of women entering technical and engineering fields.

RoboTechnoGirls 2025

The project, which has been running since 2024, aims to reduce gender stereotypes in Kazakhstan's IT industry, engage girls in digital technologies, and develop engineering and digital thinking skills among participants.
