Preparing the future generation of engineers

On June 8, the largest “city of professions” in the capital, Kidburg, in the Abu Dhabi Plaza shopping center, hosted the opening of a new game library, “Machine Engineer.”

The “Educational Workshop” will allow young researchers to immerse themselves in the world of mechanical engineering, where each young engineer will get acquainted with four exciting professions. The game scenario for mechanical engineering specialties was developed with the participation of employees of the Kostanay Allur plant.

Here, in a playful and educational way, children can learn how cars are manufactured. They will learn how to assemble a car frame with their own hands, learn what a body and welding are, and will even be able to program the movement of a car via a tablet. Each young visitor will leave not only with new knowledge, but also with inspiration from discoveries in the world of mechanical engineering.

“Love for a particular profession begins in childhood, and it is at this time that grandiose dreams are born. Allur pays great attention to supporting and promoting engineering and technical specialties, so it tries to introduce children to this exciting profession from an early age. In addition to opening a zone in the entertainment center, the company also supports the initiatives of the Robotek School of Robotics, and our corporate university cooperates with 23 universities, including 6 international ones,” emphasized Yrysty Asenova, Head of Brand Development.

“The City of Professions creates excellent conditions for early career guidance for children, starting from preschool age. Supporting Kazakhstani companies in creating role-playing games allows us to accurately and clearly reflect to children the specifics of work in different industries. This cooperation not only promotes the popularization of companies' activities, but also forms human resources, investing in the development of human capital in Kazakhstan,” noted Svetlana Baimenova, Director of Kidburg.

Kidburg amusement park is a unique interactive project for the all-round development of children, where they try their hand at 50 different professions. And the mechanical engineering zone within the entertainment centers is unique not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the entire CIS.
